Thank you for your interest in organizing a session for the 2025 ROMBA Conference! This year's conference will take place in New Orleans from September 25th-27th. All content will take place in person and as such, all Session Directors will need to attend the conference in person.
Session Directors have a unique opportunity to contribute to conference content and connect with fellow students and professionals in their areas of interest.
Reaching Out will connect you with your session speakers, but you will direct the content and flow of your session.
The time commitment for a session director is between 5 and 10 hours.
Responsibilities Include:
- Developing the session framework (we give you the session title and description, you build out the agenda with a point of view on the topic, questions, and timing).
- Bringing together speakers prior to the conference to align on flow and speaking roles (Reaching Out will provide speakers and introductions).
- Moderating your session at the ROMBA Conference.
- A virtual training session for Session Directors will be provided in May 2025.

- CV-worthy experience in moderating/facilitating a panel/workshop at the largest LGBTQ+ MBA conference in the world
The priority deadline to receive full consideration is May 2, 2025. Applications will be reviewed after this deadline so expect to receive an update from us around May 9th. Selected Session Directors and Session Facilitators should be prepared to start planning shortly after they are selected.
